Your Chance To Be Part Of The Pride

Year 11 students will have the chance to attend a trial for a place on our Football and Education programme at Aston Villa Ladies' game against Doncaster Rovers Belles

Aston Villa Ladies’ game against Doncaster Rovers Belles on 21 February will play host to girls’ trials for the Level 3 in Sport course ahead of the next academic year.

Trialists will be put through their paces on the pitch at Tamworth FC’s home ground, The Lamb, before watching the WSL2 clash for free.

Successful applicants will represent Aston Villa in the National Football Youth League while studying and working towards qualifications which will help pursue a career in coaching or within the sports industry.

Trialists should arrive at the ground at 5pm on matchday and come kitted out in training gear and moulded boots suitable for an AstroTurf pitch.

The trial will last for one hour and will be followed by an informative presentation about what students can expect from the course.

The course is run by the Aston Villa Foundation in partnership with Shelfield Community Academy and will be a vital part of the team’s new player pathway when it begins in September.

If you’re interested in attending the trial or would like more details, email: foundation@avfc.co.uk or call 0121 327 2299.
